High priced 1973 MGBGTV8 appears in Australia

This MGBGTV8 has appeared in Australia on offer at an astonishing A$69,990 (£41,545) excluding Government charges. I wonder what the total price is with "Govt charges"?

The advert says "FASTBACK 3.5L SUPER RARE ALL ALLOY V8 FULLY RESTORED TO THE HIGHEST STANDARD. Finished in the most desirable period correct colour combination of Sandglow yellow with black velour upholstery, black carpets and black interior trims with bright chrome trim accessories. Beautifully detailed and in exceptional condition throughout with outstanding attention to detail everywhere you look. The coachwork is outstanding, virtually untouched and unblemished and looks like it just rolled off the production line. All brightwork is in superb condition, with no dents and almost no pitting. Perfect, unscuffed alloys, beautifully polished to perfection and in pristine condition with near new tyres". Seen on two websites: Carsales & Lorbeck
This MGBGTV8 is Harvest Gold 0811 originally owned by Peter Laidler (alongside) who contributed many V8NOTES in the early volumes during the 1970s and 80s. He was a local policeman in Oxfordshire and a very pleasant person.

The registration on the V8 Database, the notes on the copy of the Factory production control records we hold and the photo all indicate the colour of the bodyshell is Harvest Gold and not Sandglow yellow.
