Strong flow of new Club members with an MGV8 MGV8 enthusiasts are joining the MG Car Club in encouraging numbers. The feedback we see is the attraction of the active flow of useful information and support provided on the V8 Website and on both "member-only" forums (V8BB and V8 Facebook Group), in our two workshop notes series and our events is a major factor in recruitment. In 2023 it was the 50V8 Anniversary and now in 2024 it's the Rubber Bumper 50th Anniversary with a display being planned by John Davies and Tony Smith at the Inter-Club International Weekend at Malvern in June. If that continues, as it did in 2023, it's likely we will see around 55 to 60 new Club members with an MGV8 in 2024. Mew members are attracted in a variety of ways - often from contacts with existing V8 Register members but also from many of our webpages popping up when online searches are made for MGV8 information whether technical information or guidance on getting an MGV8. Our two MGV8s for sale webpages and our popular six monthly price guide updates are regularly visited by enthusiasts interested in getting an MGV8.
