More What does the Digi-Cam kit include? More Updated: 150710 Posted: 150215 |   Protek is a security marking kit for ID marking a vehicle, components, spares and tools. The kit comes with all the essential items to mark your car or other property - easy to fit, self adhesive anti-tamper ID tags, a UV permanent marker pen and log to record your markings. ChipNTrace is a security marking device using a hidden microchip. Protek and ChipNTrace package offered by RBS Property Marking includes: Anti-tamper ID tags Easy to fit with self-adhesive backing which are hard to remove with a two-layer glue. The second layer leaves a permanent message.  Hidden microchip to ID your vehicle Fitting a radio frequency identification (RFID) microchip is easy - simply drill a small hole, push in the chip, cover over with paint or Super glue or push into upholstery and its installed. Invisible ID with a UV permanent marker pen With these pens you can very easily mark dozens of items big and small with an ID. The kit includes a UV light with batteries so you can read the markings made with your pen.  Record of your markings There is no need to worry about using the internet, the kit includes a manual with a log book plus an electronic log on an SD card which runs on Microsoft Excel v2003 onwards.  |   ChipNTrac is a self-monitoring GPS tracker so that you can be alerted if your car is tampered with or stolen. It's about the size of a box of matches and can be easily fitted and connected to your vehicle’s electrical system. Being fully insulated the polarity is not a concern. It has an internal battery which is kept fully charged and will take over running the tracker for up to 7 days and send an alert when it drops. The voltage converter for powering the tracker from your vehicle will run on a power supply of 6 to 36 volts so is suitable for classic cars and motorcycles as well as modern cars, motorhomes, caravans and commercial vehicles. Monitoring your car with ChipNTrac This is done using your mobile phone - even a rudimentary mobile phone will do because there are no apps to be loaded. It’s all done with simple text messages. The reply from the tracker gives the grid location of the tracker so you can give this to the police to enable them to intercept a stolen car. If you do have a smart phone with Internet access then you can click on the web address at the foot of the message to see the location of the car on Google maps. You can set alerts to detect someone messing about with the car when it is parked or in store or if it is has been stolen and is the move.
