Another joint Midget, MGB Roadster, MGBGT and MGBGTV8 brochure which refers to
the V8 as "last word in sports motoring" and "this is
the ultimate MG". As the country had just been through a fuel crisis,
the brochure notes "the MGBGTV8 has a lightweight aluminium 3,532cc V8
engine capable of a breath-taking 125mph" with "0-50 in 5.9 seconds.
And MG know-how keeps the fuel consumption to an astonishing low". Ian

Another joint MGBGT & V8 brochure which features the rubber bumpered models.
The message is typical of the mid 1970s with an emphasis on "sports cars
for the decision maker - stylish world-beaters for the man who demands something
extra from his leisure machine". This brochure has the addendum on the
back cover mentioning that "overdrive is now fitted as standard equipment
on GT models". Ian Ailes has loaned his copy so we can have a reference

This brochure features a Glacier White rubber bumpered MGBGTV8 at speed on the
cover. The eight pages contain double pages on the Midget, MGB Roadster and the
MGBGT & V8. At this time overdrive was an optional extra. Ian Ailes has an

3037 This brochure covered the chrome bumpered Midget, MGB Roadster
and MGB GT & V8. The back cover had a feature - "The individual touch"
- with a range of Unipart accessories to personalise your car. This brochure is
stamped by McLay's Garage at Kirkintilloch. Ian Ailes has an original copy in
very good condition and has loaned it to the V8 Webmaster so we can have a reference
