The annual V8 Curry Evening at the Moghal Tandoori
on Saturday 15th February was a good start to the V8 25th
Anniversary Year! Gordon Hesketh-Jones and Jennifer
easily won the long distance award, driving up from Cornwall
in their MGBGTV8 via the V8 Committee meeting at Club Office
earlier in the day. The following day they were doing a check
run through of the route for the V8 Tulip Tour they
are organising as part of the V8 25th Anniversary 2003
week in June.

from the first gathering in Epsom, was up from Gloucestershire,

owner from Buckinghamshire with Sue, described how he had
recently had his RV8 steering box serviced by Peter Woods
at Westwood Portway near Buckingham for £40. John had
found his steering box had been getting a "bit knotchy"
and is delighted with the smooth and precise feel of the refurbished
unit. Gavin Bailey was there relating how he found
a hardtopfor his RV8 and is having it resprayed to match the
car. Peter Buckles and his guest Irene live locally
and were within walking distance, Ron Edmund and Maxine,
Jim Gibson and Sue Walker from Northamptonshire and
Andy Harding and Jayne from Wimbledon never miss the
curry. Alan Nowell and Jill together with Mike Russell
and Barbara, and Victor Smith.
