Tahiti Blue 2701 – 1975 Earls Court Motor Show car, later sold to Carlaw (Cars) Ltd in Glasgow. Extensive repairs are reported to be in progress. Current owner and location not known. Mirage 2103 – a RHD pre-prod MGBGTV8 used by BL for advertising. Has the registration GDA 710N but a DVLA check shows it was last taxed in February 1989 which suggests it’s in store or worst. Harvest Gold 2104 - a RHD pre-production MGBGTV8 used by BL for service work and photographed for a magazine article. In 2015 it was registered with the V8 Database by a member in Somerset as “dry stored for 10 years but a restoration is coming”. Last road taxed in 1988. Citron 2105 – was on display at the 1974 Earls Court Motor Show and later sold to Newbury Motors Ltd in Aston, Birmingham. Not registered with the V8 Database. Blaze 2136 – Earls Court demonstrator, then sold to University Motors at Hanwell, London W7. Has VRN KKJ 588N but not taxed since July 2009. Not registered with the V8 Database. Glacier White 2902 - one of two RHD pre-production cars built to 1977 specification. Used as a “Factory garage car” at Abingdon until it was purchased by Syd Beer in Huntingdonshire.
