Carpanini V-8
In 1969 the Motor magazine reviewed a 100mph, 5 seater, Daimler V8 engined GT car, built using some MGB parts. It was called a Carpanini V-8 it ed designed and built by an amateur enthusiast in his own garage. Keith adds "I suspect it didn't last long".

When you see this design and compare it with the Factory MGBGTV8 you can see how the Farina design achieved graceful and timeless lines which have made the MGBGT and the derivatives so popular for so long.
