Sally Field, the Hollywood actress, is seen in pictures in or by "her 1965 MGB". The cars appear both to be a dark colour. But if you read her memoir "In Pieces" she says: "From the barely dawn morning, when I'd drive onto the Columbia lot, until long after the sun had set, I lived in Gidget's world. Then I'd climb back into my newly purchased yellow MGB, carefully work the frighteningly unfamiliar stick shift, and drive back through the looking glass into Sally's world- where my feet hurt so bad I thought of putting them in a pan of hot water and Epsom salts, the way Aunt Gladys always did".

Keith says "So her car was yellow? Did she have more than one? Oh well, we will never know".
