Rare MGBGTV8 emerges from restoration
It was sold by Lex Motor CO on 22nd August 1973 only 5 days after the model was launched. We have heard from Nigel Guild, the well known MGV8 trader with Former Glory at Postcombe in Oxfordshire, it has had one owner from new and was his daily driver with 100,000 miles on the clock by 1988.

Nigel says it has been off the road since 1988, but has just emerged from a full restoration. He adds it was sold to my trade colleague 12 years ago and then a few years later the 10 year full restoration began. It's now arrived at Former Glory and will soon be on offer as an attractive example of the model in Damask Red.
