Brooklands
Green 1146 was built and finished in Glacier White at the
MG Factory. Over the years it has had eight owners around the
UK including in Northwest London, Wales, Devon and Rutland.
MG Factory records show the car went through paint finishing
on 4th January 1974 and was despatched from the Factory the
next day to Saville Motors in Solihull, Warwickshire. It was
first registered on 10th July 1974, so about 28 weeks from despatch
to first registration, not uncommon at that time with the chaos
created by the Middle East War and the disruption to motor fuel
supplies. Link
