MGBGTV8 rebuilds in the style of Sebring MGs
It's not often you see two MGBGTV8 rebuilds in the Sebring style and offered for sale in the same month.

Modifications and the extent they may be felt to have on originality of classic cars like MGV8s has always been a topic where various views and passions exist. Alongside we have two examples of major modifications of MGs that each created very individual MGBGTV8s in the style of the former MG works Sebring competition cars. The creation of each car was clearly driven by a passion for the look and feel of the Sebring model and the aims behind each mode, lincluding the choice of upgrades that were added to each car. The result is two wonderful MGV8s.

A passion project that started as a 1978 MGBGT which was extensively and methodically converted to the car it is today as a retirement project by a professional automotive engineer. It's a formidable sounding and running machine and a fantastic car for any equally passionate owner. It could also easily be modified to suit the new owner's taste if so desired. Sebring style rebuild of a Factory MGBGTV8

Sebring conversion using a 1975 original Factory MGBGTV8. The advert says the "completely rust-free body has been rebuilt in the style of the works Sebring MGs. The bonnet, doors and front valance are all aluminum. Rover engine is now 3. 9 litres producing 178bhp according to a recent rolling road test. The body is freshly painted in BRG". Stainless steel exhaust system. With many modifications and upgrades including 8x15 Minilite wheels with 225/15 tyres and a limited slip differential. The owner says "having got up close to one of the two Factory works cars I knew that I wanted to build a similar one".
