The
Post Abingdon Weekender is back and bigger than ever before!
Celebrating
120 years of Rover and 100 years of MG, this year will certainly
be one to remember! Rob Johns, the event organiser says, "Come
and join us for a weekend packed with various activities including
a Pride of Ownership, trade village, photoshoot opportunities
and much more, all set within a wonderful Cotswolds backdrop
next a working Steam Railway.
In partnership
with some of the key MG and Rover clubs, we are creating a
truly special weekend, with a shared vision that we should
all come together to celebrate these milestone anniversaries
for these brilliant marquees.
Focused
on post-1975 cars and bringing the modern classics and new
era models into the spotlight. However, any car wearing a
Rover, MG or related marque badge is welcomed with open arms!
Please
keep an eye on our social pages for further announcements
(and we do have some exciting ones coming!)
We look
forward to seeing you there, this will be a weekend to remember!
Our Pride
of Ownership is also happening across the weekend, with winners
each day. Please note that a show tick must have been purchased
to enter, and you can only enter one of the days".
*if you have purchased a Saturday ticket already, this is still
valid and will be carried over. We have had to make some changes
to the weekend with the road run now starting from Toddington
Railway Station and the show opening earlier.*
