RV8 takes on TVR & Marcos Ian Quarrington reports he has seen an interesting article on three V8 powered sports cars in the latest issue of Classic & Sports Car magazine. It's an interesting and well illustrated read in what is a 200 page magazine. Well worth getting a copy. Photo: John Bradshaw Posted: 240202 Classic & Sports Car magazine has an RV8 on the front cover of the March 2024 issue highlighting an 8 page feature article - Power to the People. It says "the early 1990s was a golden era for British sports cars. TVR, Marcos and MG all took the Rover-powered route and represent great value today". The article compares the three V8 powered cars ending with "all three provide a convincing facsimile of a 1960s sports car, but the MG is more GT while the TVR has a raw edge, with the Marcos in between."
