Fisher
Services started around 30 years ago, originally focusing on
single MG restorations from a small garage. They originally
focused on Concours show cars, but began to develop a reputation
for high quality workmanship. Since then, Fishers has expanded,
moving into its current premises in Sydenham, South East London
in 1993. The expansion allowed them to move into more general
repairs, as well as servicing and restoration with customers
as far away as Norway and Italy.
It also led to the development of a large parts department which
became the largest in South East London and Kent.
Now
Paul Keeler has heard some sad news Fisher Services of
Lower Sydenham in SE London appears to be closing.
The owner Mark Mark Wanstall is moving to Somerset where he
will continue to run Hoyle Suspension and possibly continue
some classic car renovation work. For many loyal customers,
driving to Somerset for good quality services from Mark for
their classic car, not least MGV8s enthusiasts, will be well
worthwhile. Paul says "Mark is highly regarded with some
30 years of exerience with servicing, maintenance, fitting modifications,
full body renovations and in fact almost any sort of MG work.
Mark took over Hoyle Suspension from John Hoyle some years ago."
Paul adds "they
looked after my MGB for around 30 years and I bought my RV8
from Mark, which has also been maintained with annual checks
and
modified with retrofits
of power steering and the Hoyle IRS by them."

Fisher Services
has been restoring cars for decades and have seen many cases
where cars have been stored for in excess of 30 years and subsequently
deteriorated, when customers went to Fisher Services to have
them restored to their former glory. MGAs and MG TCs have been
restored and other classics too like Healeys.

In 2014 Fisher
Services owner Mark Wanstall acquired Hoyle Suspension from
John Hoyle, and has had many years experience in using and fitting
the systems on to MGs.
