Enjoy a visit to Sywell
Aerodrome and an informal lunch in the Aviator restaurant. Sywell
Aerodrome is set in the heart of Northamptonshire, just northeast
of Northampton, and is one of the UK’s leading General
Aviation airfields. It's an active airfield with a variety of
aircraft taking off and landing.
The Aviator's
hotel, bar and restaurant are unique, not just in their Art
Deco style but also with wonderful views across the bustling
airfield at Sywell. Formerly the original Pilots' Clubhouse
and Officers' Mess during WW2, the Aviator has been extensively
renovated in recent years to its former Art Deco glory, whilst
retaining much of its rich aviation history. It features outdoor
seating on the garden terrace and also a large garden area with
views across the airfield where aircraft take off and land,
with even the occasional air display.

Supper at the Star Inn in Sulgrave

An informal supper at the Star Inn in Sulgrave village.
Meet up in the bar with fellow V8 enthusiasts from around 6.45pm.
This fine Hook Norton pub keeps its ales in a very good condition
and has a splendid supper menu chalked up on a blackboard.
