Enjoying looking back There's no beating reading a Beano to bring back memories of reading the comic many years ago - only reading it with your grandchildren can beat it! Posted: 220603 One source of fun with grandchildren is sending them copies of the Beano - and particulary the pleasure of reading it before it goes off to them in the post! The Special Jubilee Issue features Her Maj when she visits Beanotown . . . what could possibly go wrong? On one page the Mayor of Beanotown is worried because the Prime Minister will be there too! Alongside the cartoon image of Boris the Editor has the comment: "why is it the Prime Minister always looks like he's had a fight with an Ostrich!" For many he looks more like a startled bogbrush!
