In 2023 we will have the 50th anniversary of the launch of the MGBGTV8 model in August 1973 and the 45th anniversary of the formation of the V8 Register five years later in 1978. We will also have the 30th anniversary of the start of RV8 production in 1993.

As the 50th anniversary is a major milestone we need to begin thinking ahead with ideas of how we can celebrate that milestone year and the anniversary date of the launch of the MGBGTV8 on 15th August 1973 at the Earl’s Court motor show in October 1973.

News of anniversary events in the UK and overseas will be posted here as planned events are announced.
