For the V8 25th Anniversary Week of events we have arranged a convenient V8 Pass which will give you admission to most of the V8 Register events during the week and most important, admission to the International MG Meeting at Silverstone for each of the three days over the the long weekend meeting put on by the MG Car Club. The good looking V8 Pass has a blue cord lanyard and is available at only £35.00 including VAT. It represents very good value as you will see from the table alongside.

What events are covered by the V8 Pass and which events are not included in the package?
Just three events are not included in the V8 Pass and they are the V8 Tulip Tour, the V8 Dinner and the Club Dinner - they are coloured red in the table alongside. The table sets out the coverage and the total cost of the tickets or charges for the programme of events - so you can see it is good value.

Does the V8 Pass give admission to Silverstone for the whole weekend?
Yes - we have negotiated a good deal with Club Office on the admission charge for the long weekend meeting at Silverstone which is passed on to V8 Pass Holders. So we feel the V8 Pass package is both very good value and will be convenient for V8 members.

Who is eligible for a V8 Pass?
All members of the V8 Register, their family members and guests. The V8 Register reserves the right to restrict the issue of V8 Passes to any member who seeks to purchase an unreasonable number of passes.

What if I only come for the Silverstone weekend - is the V8 Pass worthwhile?
Yes - if you buy a 3 day ticket at gate at Silverstone (£25.00) and a ticket for the popular V8 Track Laps, that will cost you £40.00. Even if you only go just for the Sunday (£15.00), the cost including the V8 Track Laps would be £30.00 and with a V8 Pass you will have have preference if the V8 Track Laps are oversubscribed as seems very likely.

Can I buy online? Yes we have recently set up an Online Sales system using PayPal as the payment mechanism.

Do I need to be a member of the MG Car Club to enter events in the V8 25th Anniversary 2003?
The short answer is yes - either a member of the MG Car Club or a member of an overseas branch of the MG Car Club. The good news is joining is very easy and the annual subscription is modest and there is no joining fee! For details of the subscriptions and how to join, see the membership webpage.

Concessionary entrance price at Blenheim Palace
The availability of the concessionary price of £8.00 will depend on a minimum number of participating V8 members booking in advance so arrangements can be made to obtain the special concession windscreen passes for distribution to members so they can display their pass on arrival at the ticket control point at Blenheim Palace on the day of the visit. Hook Norton Brewery
A guided tour will only be available if sufficient members confirm they wish to reserve a place some time ahead of the visit. The cut-off date will be published in April 2003 but the size of party for the tour is not large. For further details see Hook Norton Brewery.
V8 Track Laps
Entries for the track session will first be allocated to holders of V8 Passes and then to individual applicants. Based on previous track lap sessions at the Club's annual meeting at Silverstone, it is likely this event will be very popular indeed so again early booking is particularly recommended - a V8 Pass will secure your slot!
