RV8 Workshop Notes by mail order
The RV8 Workshop Notes are a series of useful and practical maintenance and spares tips contributed by members of the V8 Register of the MG Car Club. The series has grown rapidly over the last few years and is now into the sixth volume. The series is available on a convenient CD with the notes in both Word and PDF formats. Copies of the CD are available by mail order or you can buy a CD online using the convenient V8 Online Sales - Publications webpage.

What does the CD look like?
The RV8 Workshop Notes CD is produced with an attractive label and inserts in the plastic CD case, together with an insert which describes the files on the CD and provides instructions on how to load the files. The files are in both Word and PDF formats and a copy of Acrobat Reader is provided on the CD for members who do not already have the software for reading PDF files. The CD package is sent to you in a special protective cardboard box.

What does the RV8 Workshop Notes series aim to do?
The Notes are contributed by members based on their experiences with maintaining their MG RV8s or finding specialist RV8 spares and services. The series started in 1999 and Bryan Ditchman was the first editor and now Brian Moyse has taken over the role of editing the series and encouraging contributions from members of the V8 Register. Many individual notes have been published in the V8 Register monthly columns in Safety Fast! Today contributions are increasingly coming via the V8 Bulletin Board on the V8 Website.

RV8 Repair Manual is different
For new RV8 members of the V8 Register, do note that the RV8 Workshop Notes series described above is not the same as the Factory produced RV8 Repair Manual AKM7153 which members will almost certainly want to obtain as a basic document. How can I obtain an RV8 Workshop Notes CD by mail order?
You can order a CD using the V8 Online Sales system with the convenient international internet payment system provided by WorldPay or using the V8 Mail Order system.






Can I obtain printed and bound copies?
Printed and bound copies are no longer available. Even if you do not have access to a PC, you can still buy the RV8 Workshop Notes CD and then simply take it to one of the commercial print shops, like Prontaprint or KallKwik, who will print off and spiral bind hard copies for you.
