Start of Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique 2026
An MGRV8 is in the 2026 Monte Carlo Classique Historique Rally and got under way on Thursday 29th January 2026 at John O' Groats in Northeast Scotland. Link


Day 1 and 2 to South Queensferry & Hull
Details of the Scottish leg over the first two days to Hull for the ferry to Rotterdam.

Day 3 and 4 of the route to Monaco. Tony reports “not many photos from Reims and Bourg en Bresse. Today we are heading to Gap”. Link

Day 5 update - “day 5 to Gap, should be on the Mediterranean later today”. Gap is a town in south eastern France - a popular, high-altitude city (750 meters or.2,435ft). Link

Day 6 update - “Tony Smith says they have arrived in slightly warmer climes on the Mediterranean. Tony and co-driver Richard Jenner will enjoy recovering after their 1,500 mile journey from John O'Groats to Monaco and meeting up with fellow drivers. Link
