We have just heard the sad news that this morning, Friday 9th October, Don Hayter passed away peacefully in his sleep. We understand he had recently been in Chipping Norton hospital and two weeks ago was moved to a nursing home. Our thoughts are with his wife Mary and his son Ian and family.

Development of the MGBGTV8
Don Hayter spoke at on the development of the MGBGTV8 at Abingdon a meeting of V8 enthusiasts at Sandford near Abingdon in February 2002. He was joined by Geoff Allen, his former colleague at the Factory who was in Rectifications Department for the best part of 27 years. Their recollections of the development and production of the MGBGTV8 were fascinating.
