£11,500 including buyer's premium at 15% - Bonhams
Factory Japan spec RV8 in Woodcote Green (1995) with one owner in Japan was reimported in 2002 by HS Imports with three owners since in the UK. Has tonneau cover, stainless steel boot rack and an 'MPH' speedometer. Full service history from new, 18 stamps in total, the Japanese section having been translated, and has covered 66,700 miles to date, with 36,566 miles (48,729 kilometres) in Japan. Always garaged and said to drive very well. Well maintained in top condition. Complete with all book packs, BMIHT Certificate, V5C document, MoT to May 2016 and MG Rover Group British National Type Approval Certificate.
The price at £11,500 excludes VAT on the buyer's premium. If applicable, this would be a total sale price of £11,800.

£17,270 including buyer's premium at 10% - Classic Car Auctions
Factory pre-production UK spec RV8 in Oxford Blue built in 1993 and used as a dealer demonstration car and later in 1994 for a power steering installation carried out for MG Rover by Steering Developments at Hemel Hempstead. It has been with the current owner for the last 19 years and came with a partial history file and a CCA condition score of 81/135 or 3 stars (good everyday useable classic car, driven and enjoyed, commensurate with age and mileage, drives and looks as it should and with some vehicle history). The price is shown on the CCA website as £17,270 including buyer's premium. To this VAT on the buyer's premium would be added if applicable, totalling £17,584. With its pre-production, "Factory" PAS status and Oxford Blue body colour it is a rare car.
Sold at Classic Car Auctions on 5th December 2015 at the Warwickshire Exhibition Centre near Leamington Spa.
