Who will buy these big engined MGs at these
prices? Most likely there will be a hedge fund manager or senior banker who will
pay that price and lock it away as an investment - and barely look up from their
morning bagel and coffee as they do the deal! Posted:

Yes
in barely 28 days this
car has popped up on the Classic Cars for Sale website advertised at £29,995
by the rather grandly named Nutley Sports & Prestige Cars Limited in Nutley,
just north of Uckfield in East Sussex. The mark-up is an astonishing £17,920
or 148% of the sale price at auction of £12,075! Many thanks to
fellow V8 member Paul Tebbett for spotting this interesting development - he says
". . . bit of a mark-up here eh?"
In the last month there has been comment on the V8 Bulletin Board of the
relatively high advertised prices of MGCs - well on the Nutley Sports & Prestige
Cars website they also have a 1969 MGC Roadster which has just had a £43,000
complete nut and bolt rebuild and it is offered at £34,995. More
