There are two further visits on Monday 16th June 2003
Following the visit to the BMH Witney Body Plant, there are two further visits on Monday 16th June 2003:

Visit to Club Office at 2.00pm
Many members, particularly those from overseas, like to visit the friendly team at Club Office in Cemetery Road at Abingdon. We have arranged a brief meeting as quite understandably they will working hard with the final arrangements for the Club's annual International MG Meeting at Silverstone the following weekend. The scale of the preparations and administrative workload for that very large three day event is quite an eye opener as the Club's Chief Executive, Rob Gammage, and the very experienced Competitions Director, Peter Browning, will be able to outline during the visit. For further details, including a location map, see Club Office visit.

New MG Exhibition at the Abingdon Municipal Museum at around 3.30pm
The exhibition aims to maintain an awareness of MG and its links with both Abingdon and the MG Car Club for the townspeople and visitors. The exhibition will comprise display screens carrying large scale printed photographs and posters, 39 display cases each containing artefacts originally in the Factory and other items of MG interest The focal point of the exhibition will be a photographic recreation of the production line.

The Museum faces the Market Place in the centre of Abingdon. The large display room is on the first floor of the museum building. It is a magnificent room which is the former court room. The MG Exhibition opens at the beginning of June. For further details see MG Exhibition.
