These directions are for members who have not been to Club Office before - particularly overseas members. |
Club Office, Abingdon-on-Thames
From the A34 dual carriageway to the west of Abingdon, exit at the flyover for Abingdon. As you come into Abingdon, turn left at the third roundabout into Spring Road. That roundabout is one of the double type so is quite complex. The third turning in Spring Road on the left is Cemetery Road. The Club Office is a Victorian house at the end of the road on the LHS. From the east of Abingdon you can reach the town by a most pleasant cross country route from Henley-upon-Thames, via Nettlebed, Wallingford, the Dorchester Bypass and Culham, and then you enter Abingdon across the old road bridge. Turn left at the Market Place into the one-way system and then go straight on whereupon you will arrive at the "third roundabout" mentioned above. Using this route you turn right into Spring Road of course. |
