Parade laps for spectators
Spectators are always welcome at MGoT track days and there is no admission fee. At Goodwood there will be an opportunity for spectators to take their car around the Goodwood track for a few laps. This will be done at a controlled reduced speed behind a course car, so no thrashing of any components involved. This is being organised to raise funds for a local charity. There is no need to pre-book, just turn up on the morning by 11.30am and buy a ticket. Parade lap participants will not be required to wear helmets.

Meet up in the Paddock or for refreshments in the aeroclub cafe. For those unfamiliar with Goodwood, drive through the entrance and down through the white portal of the tunnel, turn left and into the Paddock.

Goodwood is an ideal circuit for classic cars at speed, both for drivers and for spectators - so the MGoT track day on Saturday 25th February will be well worth attending and meeting up with fellow V8 enthusiasts. Peter Kuruber will be on the track with the RV8GT together with Nic Houslip with his RV8 and Doug Bond, Mike Salter and Trevor Scarborough with their MGBGTV8s.

The Goodwood layout remains unchanged from its 50s and 60s racing heyday and it is the setting for the popular annual Goodwood Revival race meeting - a "magical step back in time". The circuit is a serious test of any driver's nerves. Much of the lap can be flat-out in some cars - from the chicane all the way round to St Mary's, cars will be travelling very rapidly indeed. Spectating from Madgwick or the chicane is close to the paddock or you can stroll round the circuit to the fast corners on the far side at Fordwater or St Mary's. More details on the MGoT website.

Drivers who have booked a place with MGoT sign on at 7.30am and are on the track from 9am. There is a lunch break and the event closes at 4pm.
