Fred
Jenns says "one of the concerns raised about
the RV8 is the relatively poor headroom. We have
just had the lowered seats (above right) made for
a customer in Europe. The seat pattern mimics the
original RV8 seats, but is less rouched to keep
the seats taut. The seats are in full hide, not
just |
the
wearing surfaces. The original RV8 head rest is
re-used. Both the back rest and the squab have been
made shallower and the frame also cut down. The
leather is an excellent match to the centre console.
Although there is about ten different colours in
the RV8 interior this is the best match that we
have found, but if a different shade or even colour
is required the supplier Moto-Build would be happy
to help if at all possible.
These
seats are for outright sale so that you can keep
the original seats in good condition if you plan
to enjoy the RV8 over many miles, or even if your
original seats have become shabby or torn. No modification
is required to the car so the original seats can
be re-fitted without difficulty. The price that
I have been quoted is £725.00 plus VAT. For
more information call Moto-Build Ltd in Egham -
contact Grahame Davis on 01784 477477."
