"The
perfect English country house"
Built between 1776 and 1783 this fine Palladian mansion fell upon
hard times in the early part of the twentieth century. In the 1950s
it was rescued and lovingly restored by Lord and Lady Iliffe who
filled their home with important paintings, textiles and furniture.
