These pipes are increasingly
seen rotting out with corrosion and Clive Wheatley reports he has sold around
20 of them over the last 12 months. It's a spare you will almost certainly need
before very long.
Useful tools for the RV8 and MGBGTV8
Following the recent
V8BB thread seeking sources for the special thin walled spark plug socket for
a Rover V8 engine, John Targett in the US, says they are available in the USA.
He has supplied a small batch to Clive Wheatley together with two other useful
tools. They are chrome plated tools.
You can order these tools from Clive
Wheatley mgv8parts before the MG Show at Stoneleigh on Sunday 19th February 2012
and then you will be able to pick up them up at his stand just inside the main
entrance and save the P&P.

Hidden under the twin SU carburettors on an MGBGTV8
is a steel pipe which can rust quite badly and need replacement. It's attached
to the induction manifold not an easy part to find in the manuals or on the car!
The good news is Clive Wheatley has resourced the part in a better quality material,
405 stainless steel. More
