Useful
tools for the
RV8 and MGBGTV8
Following
the recent V8BB thread seeking sources for the special thin
walled spark plug socket for a Rover V8 engine, John Targett
in the US, says they are available through Clive Wheatley together
with two other useful tools. They are chrome plated tools.
You can order these tools from Clive Wheatley mgv8parts before
the MG Show at Stoneleigh on Sunday 19th February 2012 and then
you will be able to pick up them up at his stand just inside
the main entrance and save the P&P.

Thin
wall plug socket for the RV8 & MGBGTV8
A special thin wall plug socket with an integral
joint which enables the socket to be positioned
in the tight recess so a convenient turning action
on the spark plug can be applied. The socket comes
with a 3/8" to 1/2" drive adapter. This

clamp wrench for the RV8 and MGBGTV8
Many RV8 enthusiasts find
it impossible to undo the distributor clamp nut
with an ordinary spanner but the good news is there
is a special long reach angled wrench to do the
