Piers Corbyn gets first £10,000 fine for running an illegal gathering
The Mail Online reports "Piers Corbyn gets first £10,000 fine in London for running an illegal gathering after he helped organise huge London rally by thousands of conspiracy theorists claiming Covid is a HOAX. Piers Corbyn, the 73-year-old meteorologist brother of the former Labour leader, led more than 10,000 anti-lockdown protesters who believe coronavirus is a hoax at a rally in Trafalgar Square on Saturday. Mr Corbyn's Twitter account has since confirmed he was slapped with a £10,000 fine and 'held for ten hours' He was among eight others across the rest of England fined under new lockdown rules imposed on Friday ahead of the Bank Holiday weekend. The others that were fined had all been organising raves."
