Roadster conversion date survey
Bruce Morgan runs an annual sprint for the South West Centre
of the MG Car Club and has reported there has been a regulations
change from the RAC Motor Sports Association (the body governing
UK motor sport) which will allocate V8 Roadsters to the Sports
Libre Class. That will mean V8 Roadsters will be in a class
with Clubmans cars like Lotus Super Sevens. Whilst Factory MGBGTV8s
will stay in the production sportscar class we need data for
when V8 Roadsters were converted to V8 power to support an application
by Bruce Morgan to get the new allocation reversed.
