Harry Morten says "this interesting car from my father last year, so I can't say that I know the entire history, but this is what I know: It is a 1974 Damask Red MGBGTV8, as made by the factory. I have no history until the early 1980s when the car was taken in by Lenham Motor's, now Lenham Sports Cars. This car was the prototype for their conversion and was indeed converted into a 2+2 Roadster with a shortened boot and a rear seat, while retaining the windscreen frame of the GT."
