This
year the V8 Picnic in the Park was combined with
the National Drive your Classic Car Day and a joint
meeting with the Lincolnshire Centre at Belton House,
a National Trust property near Grantham in Lincolnshire.
Ideal spring weather and an attendance of some 110
cars made the event a success. There were |
| Pride
of Ownership classes for MG and non MG cars (mainly
Jaguars) together with the usual quiz and raffles.

Ian
Quarrington mentioned he Hugh Boddington, Mike Taylor,
John Bolt, John Taylor ( who won a Pride of Ownership
award with his RV8), David Allen, Richard Withington and
Robert Crowson at the Belton House event. The line up
of MGs in the garden included many MGV8s. |
