Few
places still available for the MGoT track day on the Silverstone
GP Circuit
MGs
on Track or MGoT is a branch of the MG Car Club run by volunteer
enthusiasts. They have a formally elected committee, all of
whom are MG enthusiasts who enjoy driving on track. The MG Car
Club is a member of the Association of Track Day Organisers
(ATDO) which is the body that sets general safety standards
and provides a code of practice for track days. All MGs on Track
events are therefore run in accordance with the ATDO Code of
Practice.

Dave
Livingstone with the MGoT says "there are always
plenty of V8s wanting to drive Silverstone GP circuit.
This year it is the new Arena circuit and already
the day is almost sold out. There are just five
places left. I thought you might want to let V8
members know as there are only three V8s currently
booked. |
Monday
21st March 2011 at Silverstone Circuit
A wonderful opportunity to drive your MGV8 on a
new circuit at the historic Silverstone Circuit.
Sign On Time: 07:15
Briefing Time: 08:15
Track Start Time: 09:00
Track End Time: 16:00
Two MG sessions
The MGoT teaqm is delighted to be able to offer
a full day on the new Arena GP Circuit, as used
for the first time at the 2010 British Grand Prix.
The circuit is a half mile longer than the previous
GP circuit and the new Arena section is a real technical
challenge. This is a three session per hour day
with each session lasting 20 minutes. We expect
each car to have 2 hours of track time throughout
the day, assuming no stoppages. Two sessions will
be MGs-on-Track and one session will be Lotus-on-Track.
