MG6
- a well engineered car with a fresh image - MG
attitude in spades
In a road test in May 2011 Quentin Willson thought
the MG6 was surprisingly good. On the road it was
quick and interesting to drive. He liked the handling
- crisp feel, alert, sharp steering, good modular
balance on the springing - a disarmingly good car
to drive.
The 150bhp turbocharged petrol engine enables the
car to reach 60mph in under 9 seconds and on long
runs it gives over 40mpg and on local trips in the
mid 30s. Wilson liked the cabin quality too - the
good quality and fit of the trim, the good rear
seat space for three adults and a hatchback boot
with a class leading 1,224 litres of cargo space.
