Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson apologised for saying on the BBC The One Show that
striking public sector workers should be shot. His comments were widely condemned
but alongside his apology there are calls for him to be fired by the BBC. Many
people seem to find his brash style and antics entertaining but yesterday he may
have gone a foot and mouthful too far.
