Encourage
your local MP to attend the House of Commons debate for lower
fuel prices
Assuming
there are no issues with any unforeseen Government priorities,
the FairFuelUK campaign team have just been notified that there
will be "the FairFuelUK debate" in the House of Commons
on Tuesday 15th November 2012 - so they want you to lobby your
MP to attend this debate. We
do not wish to see any empty seats in the House for this important
debate. More
FairFuelUK has a webpage to help you contact your local MP so
they are aware of your concerns over the increased fuel prices.

Unless
Westminster debates the way fuel is taxed, and realises
that significantly lower duty levels will provide
an essential market stimulus, the economy could
collapse and may never recover. Quentin Willson

The FairFuelUK Campaign was established in January
2011 to fight for a fairer deal for motorists, UK
businesses and the road freight industry in terms
of fuel taxation. The campaign is now backed by
the RAC, and the two main trade bodies that represent
between them over 20,000 UK road freight companies,
the Freight Transport Association (FTA) and the
Road Haulage Association (RHA). In addition, the
campaign is backed by over 150 Parliamentarians.
The campaign has made extensive use of the internet
(www.fairfueluk.com) to reach out to the wider UK
population and has nearly 200,000 supporters amongst
the general public.
