The
Old Timer event on Saturday 3rd September 2011 at
the Emil Frey AG Autocenter in Safenwil was not
just a static display of a wide variety of classic
cars but active too with spirited drives around
the extensive grounds of the Emil Frey Autocenter
in Safenwil The atmosphere at this event is one
of enjoyment of classic cars ranging from Jaquar
E-Types and Aston Martins to Alfa Romeos and many
MGs ranging from pre war models to T Types, Y Types,
Midgets, MGBs, an MGC and several MGV8s. Motorcycles
too featured strongly including Triumphs, Royal
Enfields and Nortons and their tours of the parade
route were very spirited indeed. An extraordinary
motorcycle appeared too - with the rider inside
a large wheel!
An
immaculate Huntsman V8 Roadster in Glacier White
was there, recently acquired by Hanspeter Bachmann
who was clearly delighted with the high quality
V8 conversion built by David Franklin. |
