Hatch race meeting - first of the season
Ian
Quarrington reports it was a very well attended two day meeting
with wonderful weather. He thoroughly enjoyed the weekend and
says the racing was close and entertaining.

It
was good to see Liz Allsworth (Club membership secretary),
Kim O'Shea (Accounts) and Lauren Gallacher (a most
able work experience student) from Kimber House
at their first race meeting. They took the Club's
MGZT-T estate around the track at lunchtime! Ian
Quarrington says "they are such enthusiastic
Club Office members and were clearly enjoying the
day a great deal."
Marion Quarrington is a regular volunteer for marshalling
and was both surprised and delighted to be asked
to be "Chief Pits" Marshal on the Sunday
for the first time. |
