MGBGTV8 needing a major rebuild

Clive Wagerfield has come across a Factory MGBGTV8 that has been stored outside for over 10 years - Bracken 1707 - and it is in a sorry state! But it is a good basis for a re-shelling rebuild for someone who would like to keep a Factory car on the road rather than see it sent to a breakers for parts. Clive feels strongly it needs to be saved but has not got the time to organise the rebuild but believes there will be some V8 enthusiasts who would like to rebuild this car and restore it to its original condition.

If you are looking for a restoration project based on a Factory MGBGTV8 which can be obtained at a very modest price, then do get in touch with Clive. Anyone interested in the car simply for parts should not bother

as any purchaser will have to undertake to rebuild the car and not break it for parts. That undertaking would be fundamental to a sale and any breach would require the purchaser to make a payment to Clive of double the residual value determined by an agreed expert.

If you are interested in acquiring Bracken 1707 for a restoration project, contact the V8 Webmaster (contacts on the LHS of the homepage).
