 Here are two very
useful workshop tips for fellow V8 enthusiasts.

 Oil
                  can marker sleeve
If you cannot remember what oil is in the oil can, cut a band
out of the old bottle and fit it as a sleeve to the can. I use
this flexible, long reach spout can for topping up the back
axle and gearbox and the sleeve fits very neatly. The spout
split filling up the gearbox from underneath. The can is slower
but a lot cleaner and much easier once the bottle is half empty.
Isaac Newton is not very helpful on that one! Another can holds
engine oil for topping up the SU carburettor dampers on an MGBGTV8.

 Looking after your workshop goggles
If you want to save scratching your workshop goggles, keep
them in an old sock. These bright red in-flight socks are courtesy
