Update on the next V8 tour from David Allen Posted 19.4.10 The planning for the V8 Cambridgeshire Tour 2010 is well advanced with several exciting events over the weekend already firmed up. The organiser, David Allen, reports: Imperial War Museum, Duxford The Imperial War Museum has put our visit, on the Monday, into their events programme for 2010 and we have special gate entry arrangements and parking in a group by the runway. Sydney Sussex College Our visit to Sidney Sussex College, where Oliver Cromwell was an undergraduate, is scheduled for the Saturday morning and Cambridgshire County Council have kindly provided us with free parking near the centre of Cambridge for the whole morning; a major coup! National Stud A visit to and tour of the National Stud has been arranged and we should see many famous racehorses there and the crop of yearlings, although the foals, which are there now, will have gone.
