V8 Marquee at Silverstone
The V8 Marquee is always a place where V8 enthusiasts meet up and enjoy a glass of real ale - and obtain copies of the V8 publications, spares from Clive Wheatley and Bryan Ditchman and V8 regalia

Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd June 2003

Large numbers of V8s parked up in the dedicated area is the usual sight at Silverstone - let's hope we have the same cloudless skies too!

V8 Marquee - open throughout the Silverstone weekend

With real ale and Stilton cheese, the V8 Marquee is a convivial place to meet up - and the workshop notes CDs and other publications and spares are available.

V8 members can park up in the dedicated V8 area and go off to see the racing or tour the trade stands knowing their V8 is amongst friends

The V8 Marquee is set up on the Friday afternoon and is open on both Saturday and Sunday. The real ale arrives from Hook Norton at around 2.30pm and is set up to settle, and is ready for consumption from mid morning on Saturday.

Bryan Ditchman will be in the V8 Marquee with tips and spares for RV8 enthusiasts

John Targett from Sussex and Ohio and Paul Busby from Leicestershire, two longstanding members of the V8 Register who are quite passionate about Hook Norton ale!

Back

Silverstone is up on a flat plateau - a wonderful place when the sun is shining but never forget your wet weather gear!

Clive Wheatley works hard to promote the V8 Register - he will be in the V8 Marquee with his spares and advice over the weekend

V8 Annual General Meeting
From the start in 1978, the members of the V8 Register have elected their committee at an AGM held every year on the Sunday of the Silverstone weekend (the MG Car Club's principal annual event) so as many V8 members as possible can attend. The V8 AGM 2003 will be on Sunday 22nd June at 12.30pm prompt outside the V8 Marquee. All V8 Register members of the MG Car Club are entitled to vote. We hope to see you!
