European Event of the Year 2011 in Belgium Friday 3rd to Tuesday 7th June 2011 The Club's European Event of the Year in 2011 will be held at Spa, in the Belgian Ardennes, from Friday June 3rd till Tuesday 7th 2011and hosted by the MG Club Belgium. Spa is renowned for its mineral springs. These waters, which were known for their healing properties, rise up in a number of places near the town and also in its centre. During the 18th century, Spa became known as the 'Café of Europe'. As a consequence of its rich past, Spa contains some impressive examples of architecture. More V8 German Tour 2011 Longstanding German V8 enthusiast, Walter Kallenberg, has sent in details of a V8 German Tour in 2011. It's not a tour with large numbers of participants. It is being held just before the Club's major event of the year, the European Event of the Year 2011 at Spa arranged by the Belgian Centre of the MG Car Club.
