In our NEWS report on 15th August 2015 we noted that on the HAGI website, their Top ex P&F Index (designed to measure the rare collector's automobile market outside the exotic marques like Ferrari and Porsche) showed a 7.55% "year to date" growth although a 1.6% fall in the month. Based on that uplift in mainstream classic car values in the first 7 months of 2015, the indications are a Condition 1 MGBGTV8 chrome bumper is now around £18,545 (up 7.5% from £17,250 indicated by our price guide in February 2015) and a rubber bumper model at around £15,320. We are working on a review of MGV8 prices but our draft updated price chart for the MGBGTV8 model is above.
