Two Day Highland Tour
Tueday 20th & Wednesday
21st August 2013
The short two day tour will be based at the Dundonnell Hotel
on Little Loch Broom near Ullapool and covers a major part of
the routes described in the two Memorable MG Routes published
in Safety Fast! The purpose of the tour is to provide fellow
V8 members attending the European Event of the Year 2013 at
Aviemore, particularly those making a long journey from Mainland
Europe and the south of England, with an opportunity to spend
a few more days in the Highlands and see two very attractive
areas.

Special
hotel accommodation offer for members attending the V8 Two Day
Highland Tour
The Dundonnell Hotel has offered our group a special package
of dinner, bed and breakfast at £60 per person
per night including VAT. The dinner menu will be table d'hote
with three courses with three choices of starters, three main
course choices (to include a vegetarian dish) and two desserts
plus coffee. The main course choice will be centred around Scottish
fare, probably Venison, Salmon and Lamb. Depending on numbers
we may be able to fit into their smaller dining room but failing
that we will be in the main dining room that can seat up to
150 people. A separate dining room will enable us to have toasts
and not disturb other diners!
Booking accommodation?
The booking arrangements agreed with the hotel are that members
should make a direct booking with the hotel mentioning
they are on the "V8 Two Day Highland Tour" organised
by the V8 Register so you will get the special DB&B rate.
The hotel's contacts are alongside. No deposit will be required
by the hotel when booking. The hotel owner has offered to hold
a block of rooms until 1st April 2013 for V8 members but early
booking is recommended.
If you or anyone joining the tour with you has any special
dietary needs, please let the hotel know when booking and
confirm them in an email or by letter so the chef can be prepared.
Equally if you have any personal access needs also mention
those when booking with the hotel.
