MG RV8 in Nightfire Red
The auction listing says "a UK supplied one owner car with only 3,220 miles from new. It's VIN 0308 and the K8 MGB registration plate comes with the car. Excellent' bodywork, paintwork, interior trim, original sales invoice, book pack with all handbooks and service book, original sales brochures, letters from Rover, collection of old tax discs, various R V8 magazine articles, collection of invoices and 20 old MOT certificates, plus one valid into July 2019".

Very tidy engine bay
The auction listing indicated a guide price of £20,000 to £25,000 but it was sold last weekend at the H&H auction at Bicester for £39,375. That's 54% higher than the guide price. Andy Goves believes the sale price shown on the H&H website must be the hammer price plus 12.5% commission and VAT thereon.
