New look for the V8 Website is coming

With the help of Gayle Hunter's team at UKWebCo.com, a leading website design services company, a fresher feel is being introduced for both the homepage and principal webpages together with a similar update to the V8 Bulletin Board.
A new look for the V8 Website is coming soon as we run up to the third anniversary of the launch of the V8 Website in June 2003. The update includes a bright V8 Register logo with a silver finish and a subtle wide animation at the top of the homepage, together with much fresher looking rollover buttons. The reworked layout and rollover buttons are part of the continuing development of the V8 Website as an interesting, lively and topical information source for V8 enthusiasts.

The simple format of the V8BB received some critical comments when it was launched but it is easy to use and attracts good quality postings with useful technical tips and support for our members.
We are retaining the main navigation buttons (top LHS) but upgraded as a fresh silver set and the "utility" buttons across the top under the banner image. We have changed "V8 specialists" to V8LIFELINE, the longstanding name given to our listing of recommended suppliers of specialist services for V8 enthuisats. We are also retaining the bank of eight large buttons which take you to the heart of the website's content in just one click - including the workshop notes, support for the RV8 and V8 models, the rolling V8 calendar and the new visitor's content guide.

Feedback very welcome to V8 Webmaster.

The popular RV8s for Sale and V8s for Sale webpages will continue to have buttons on the LHS and below that the very useful "Recent Changes" button which takes you to a log of all the material changes to the website listed on a daily basis. It's a feature you do not see on many websites but seems to us to be an essential convenience so you don't have to waste time finding what's changed! Just click "Recent Changes" and you have all the new information just a click away!
