Membership benefits and Subscription rates

Renewing your MG Car Club membership subscription by either direct debit or charge card ensures renewal will be automatic - and both new and existing members will receive a £4 discount on the subscription rate too! Collecting subscriptions by these automatic renewal methods avoids the inconvenience for members of missed annual subscription renewals. It also saves the Club money which helps keep operating costs as low as possible.

Direct Debit safegauards
There are safeguards for you as the account holder which are set out in the Direct Debit Guarantee which is operated by all banks and building societies that participate in the Direct Debit Scheme. The Club is required to give members renewing by direct debit 10 days notice of any change in the subscription rate before making any claims under a member's direct debit authority. In practice the Club has published details of any subscription increases in the monthly Club magazine, Safety Fast!, well ahead of the effective subscription change date to ensure that requirement is met.

Automatic renewal by a continuing payment authority with a card You can create a continuing payment authority very easily - simply download and print off a copy of the continuing payment authority form, fill in the necessary details and then send it to the Club Office at the Freepost address below.
